Sculpture Trail at Ragley Hall
There are currently 21 sculptures in the Jerwood Sculpture collection, including Juliet Haysom's Spring (unveiled June 2008) and Julian Wild's System no. 24 (unveiled October 2008). They are laid out along a 2 1/2 mile Sculpture Trail, divided into the Garden Walk and the Woodland Walk.
The Garden Walk follows a path around the edge of the Hall's 27 acres of formal gardens which were remodelled in 1873 by Robert Marnock.
The Woodland Walk follows a path through Ragley's 400 acre park which was laid out in the 18th Century by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown.
Seats by Andy Trotman
The Jerwood Sculpture Trail includes six award-winning seats designed and made by Andrew Trotman. Constructed mainly from green oak felled on the estate and cut at Ragley's saw mill, the seats were installed in spring 2007. With them Andy won the Furniture category of the prestigious 2007 Wood Awards for 'An outstanding set of truly site-specific furniture which works well with the environment'.
